Ba 120 minute with old fashioned treatment. Works surprisingly well and drinks closer to a 9% then 19%

DFH 120 (18%) aged in Weller & Buffalo Trace barrels for a year with orange peel, cherries, and gentian root to mimic an Old Fashioned. Notes of maple syrup, toffee, caramel, and orange marmalade. HO REE FAWK!!!

The first sip reminded me of ImmortAle. This had the booze of the 120 with a lot of extra flavor. Definitely an end of night beer.

We enjoyed this quite a bit... definitely a share bottle and it's definitely got some of that Old Fashioned flavor to it...drinks easier than normal DH120

Just a taster, but an absolutely delightful one. The hints of cherry come through strongly, while that orange peel addition gives it the old fashioned hue to make it work thematically with the bourbon barrel aging. Glorious.

A perfect beer iteration of an Old Fashioned. Sweet cherry, bright orange, rich and complex bourbon barrel. As good as I imagined it could be. Merry Christmas!
