Pours incinerated straw. Intense plum nose. Taste is intense dark fruit/black pepper/tobacco and alcohol

DFH still can make a solid stout even non BA. This was a great example with the prominent bakers chocolate and slight roast you get. At times I got some coffee essence. For 15.5% this drank exceptionally smooth.

Super strong dark chocolate and cherry flavors. Not my favorite.

Roasty. Chocolate. Coffee. Malty. Rich. Sweet. Bitter. Port. Sherry. Boozy. Warming. Strong. Dry. Much drier than previous years.

Big ABV heat on the tongue. Loads of roasted malt. This is old school big stout, but is missing some of the flavors in newer recipes.

Delicious heavy hitting sipper that gets better as it warms! Prost! 🍻

Wanted something with a little higher ABV and this fit the bill. Boozy but not overly so. If Dr. Steph gives it a 5.0 I knew I couldn’t go wrong.

It's good but not cold. Let it warm up and the the flavors spring up. Little strong but nice burban flavors

Not the same distinct WW STOUT from years past but still a good brew - hearty, malty w/slightly sweet coffee & fruit flavors & coffee bitterness - we’ll balanced

I’ve always loved their IPAs; this stout is awesome! Boozy and rich

Beer Advent Day 11. Good, but a little too bitter. Needs something sweet to balance out
