Post double-header beers. Something to warm me up. Excellent and rich. Wonderful stout!

Not too impressed for the price. I think I paid for the 18% version.

Boozy, malty, dried fruit nuances, strong burn, robust. Chocolate and espresso really come through as it warms

FLN: 19 of 18, it’s easy to overachieve on beer drinking quotas when so much beautiful selection is readily available for purchase. This 15.5%er had a nice boozy warmth, with notes of chocolate, vanilla, and caramel. 🍻

Seems like a fit addition to the St. Pat's register. Goes down easy and sits just right.

Pretty much one of the best in the game - a bit sweet with big bold stout flavors. No head.

Trying next to Wake Up, Utopias, BB version. Not nearly as different tasting as I made it sound. There is chocolate & coffee & booze. But there is a little more fruitiness. I must have been very drunk when I had the first one. It's way better than a 3.25.

Perfect beer. Vikings, Egyptians, Mayans and your Mom would agree. When your flavor profile includes bourbon and red wine… you win. Emma White. Hell Yeah.

So amazed by this complex beer readily available yr after yr at +15% in 4 packs now. Malty, espresso & toasted cacao. Always a Port similarity that develops more w/ age. I should have served it in a Port glass! Vertical series growing in the cellar 😁!

I assumed that an $11 bottle would be something barrel aged. The joke’s on me. It’s a little boozy but lacks the refined qualities of bourbon barrel aging. Lots of coffee notes and not much sweetness. Good not great.
