How could I not try this. Love Baltic porters, chocolate, and cherry. Nose has a light cherry essence. Sip has smooth malt w light roast note before a mild cherry finish. Smooth w vanilla. Would have liked a bit more chocolate but overall I am a big fan.

Lots of chocolate here more of a stout than a porter

Interesting, but not a style I would drink regularly

Really quite good. Very rich and a great 'mouth feel.'. Very smooth for a 9% ABV. This could sneak up on me

Quite the interesting brew for a Baltic Porter. Notes of cherry and chocolate dance through and then leave a dryness that is balanced and luscious.

Like a mild Schwarzwälder Kuchen with more alcohol and malt. Really nice.

Thank you for the birthday gift, Dave W. ! Delicious and it was like drinking a melted down Black Forest cake

Dark chocolate, malty, with just enough cherry to taste but not overpower the other flavors. Delicious!

Inspired by the Classic German Schwarzwald Kirsh cake (aka Black Forest Cake). A complex 8.7% blend of kilned and roasted German malts provides a rich, dense canvas with layers of flavor…dark cherry juice, roasted cocoa nibs, and Madagascar vanilla beans.
