Happy to drink this one after 3.5 of ripening. Slightly sour but undoubtedly more delicate than a young kriek

12/05/2021, flesje (oogst 2020). Zurige geuzearoma´s, eerste smaak doet ook denken aan de oude geuze mariage parfait van Boon. De nasmaak is zoet en droog, wel een beetje vlak. Misschien moet deze fles wat langer blijven liggen.

Heavily oaky, with the classic kriek cherry/nut subdued. Dry and minerally. Little to no sourness or funk. Interesting. 2019 vintage.

Pours a rich ruby red with a brief fizzy head. Aroma of oak, white wine and some yeasty funk. Tartness typical of the style up front, followed by rich, ripe cherry and a dry finish. Medium bodied with a decent level of carbonation. Decent fruited lambic.

Surpris à être déçu, manquait de saveurs et de surprise pour ce style de bière, maybe l'année qui est en cause. Aucune idée de l'année. Le tout reste agréable à boire.
