Uitstekende Monoblend uit 2014 (bottled 2016): al het beste van een goede Boon geuze, maar meer diepgang en vol karakter. Cognac-toetsen, droge funk.

Dit bier ooit gedronken voordat ik untappd ontdekt had... dus eindelijk mijn ontbrekende bieren in untappd kunnen toevoegen vanuit mijn 'excel boekhouding'

4.1-4.2 virkelig nice 3F anno 2010 agtig funk i aromaen. Mere, Boon agtig i smagen. Frisk, let, mineralitet og en anelse sødme.

Echt hout gelagerd . Niet overdreven zuur. Houtlagering heftig aanwezig. Zwaar eiken vat volgens mij.

Voormalig cognacvat en dat proef je subtiel. De appelsmaak domineert maar de houttoetsen mis je niet, net als de alcoholische nasmaak in de keel. Zuur en beetje zoet. Heerlijk interessante geuze!

Très peu acide, fin nez épices, fruité lg, corps moyen. Carbo lg, sécher très leg, épices. Comme une rondeur qui reste.

Sweaty oaky leathery brett, earthy, ton of apricot musty fruit, green apple, pineapple, lemon, in the minority but definitely get the cognac from the barrel, ever so slightly lively (for me), stunning beer at 6 years aged, only get better (cries).

Depth, oak and funk. Dry leathery boozy warmth in the long finish. Very easy to drink. Beautiful.
