Busy morning, fixed two leaking outdoor faucets then changed the oil in by wife’s car and my truck. Time for a break. A wonderful Gueuze Lambic, very subdued on the funkiness but still an oak and crisp apple tartness. Very refreshing!!!

LC; “best by” the year I turn 53. Couldn’t wait. Liked but didn’t love: musty oak woodiness & light vanillins; touch of green apple spice & elderflower orchard fruit suggestions. Basement minerality. Dry. These are always fun to try.

Пахнущий стойлом и компостом, в меру искрящийся углекислотой сухой ламбик с преобладающей горечью во вкусе. Кислоты очень мало, в основном вкус состоит из жестковатой горечи и полудымных оттенков

Mega podobne do poprzednich, wanilia, drewno i bez wina, daje 4,1, bo juz blizej konca, dochodzi piwnica i grejpfrut, s: slodkie, drewniane, waniliowe, grejpfrutowe, lekko sciagajace, cytrynkowe, bez octu, znowu tego wina nie czuc, ale juz mega chlalne,41

Average quality, a little sharp for Boon, red fruit. Some drying mineral. Not as overtly red winey as eg the OB Vandervelden bottles.

Well balanced in taste. Little sour left. Full in taste. The cask very much affected the whole.

Curious to see if I can tell the difference between vat 109 and vat 92. The quick answer is no. Tart apple and mild malty flavour. Tasty, but not the best Lambic I’ve had.
