It’s 7 years since I last tried this vintage. Pours with a healthy head, but a restrained fizz. Chilled, the 10 year old lambic base dominates, but it opens up into a beautiful cherry wine. Dry, soft, juicy, layers on the finish. Very very different.

Oh, yes, amazing. Slightly sweet cherry perfectly balanced with dry oak notes. Not acidic, very drinkable and still has a ton of shelf life left on it.

Frisch, pflaumig, nett. Aber irgendwie mehr Wein als Bier, zumindest vom Geschmack her.

Dark cherry and oak. Blended very well after aging 12 years. Light alcohol esters. Drinks incredibly well.

Held on to this bottle since 2015 or 2016. The only other time I tried this was at Monk’s Bar in Philly back in 2015

Old money tickers! First beer post Covid and a cold stormy night, had to dig in the cellar. Funk, cherry and pretty good for a 10+ old beer! Happy Friday.

Rather delicious, still some good cherry after almost 10 years. But too gentle/understated compared to Mariage Gueuze. Miss that funk

From Friday, my last one of this. Still good but some taste is gone and taste of “cellar”. Some cherries left and a bit sour still. Celebrated that I got a B on my assignment to school.
