Boon may not be considered amongst the best lambic brewers but releases like this prove they can mix it with the big boys. It's everything you want in a geuze, dry and lemony, funky and sour, effervescent and delicate. Bloody great stuff.

Magnificent. More depth than your regular Boons, and more aggressive too (the "volatile acidity"). Big, frothy carbonation. Hugely dry - if somewhat countered by very juicy green apple. Herbal (or almost piney?) note. Oak pushed somewhere close to 11.

Houterig, goed zuur, en erg droog. Echt een meesterwerk. Door de geur, smaak en afdronk hangt iets van kruidigheid, zorgt voor veel diepte

Même note que l'été dernier, on dirait qu'elle est plus onctueuse déjà, un peu de caramel, beaucoup de bois. Plus acide que la majorité des Boon, une excellente gueuze.

108 my favourite from this series. Nice boon cheese developing. Tight acidity yet rounded and drinkable. Could drink this all day.

Super citrus heavy, lots of lemon and green apples to this hazy funk bomb. I like the well roundedness to this!

Come as you are. Funky, caramel, musty and oxidized. Citrusy. Boozy. Strong. Hints of sherry barrel, maybe even some cognac. Superb blend and barrels. Not much carbonation, almost no pop or bubbles.

👌Wat een geweldige lambiek. Alles aanwezig maar heerlijk subtiel en in balans. Nou helpen de weersomstandigheden ook wel mee natuurlijk. 18°plus biertje.
