Cantillon on draft in CHS. And get to introduce someone to Cantillon who has never had it. Fun evening. St Lam FTW.

Had to share w some boys at the taproom where I worked for years before leaving town for good. Really nice baking spices and cherry combo on this year.

Been doing some damage to Belgian beers these last few days in CHI.

Glad I have mult bottles of this. Rhubarb is such a great complementary accent to a lambic.

If Mamouche is on the menu, I’m ordering it. One of my fav botanicals in beer.

Ordered this beer up 4-0. By time I got it was 5-0. Man City masterclass in Champions League.

On draft this is a better beer than bottled. A fav among the readily available Cantillon beers.

The most ‘disco beer’ that Cantillon does and I’m wondering if there is some back story bigger than American inspiration that seems evident w vanilla addition? Still one of my favs.

Still the best value in Lambics. Like regular BCS. Superbly done and cheap relative to many other similar beers by their same respective breweries.

Tracked this one off Cantillon down at a pop up restaurant. If it wasn’t a plum beer I probably have would have passed. It’s great. Glad i made the effort.

Ridiculous Cantillon cellar list here. Waking the line btwn beer and wine here. Semi sweet too. An alcohol note on the nose and you expect it to drink boozier than it does. Still pretty straightforward and less complexity than Trousseau.

Super interesting. Surprised it resembles a Rose. So many wine inspired Lambics here now. Aged in clay, not wood. Super soft mouthfeel. In the end this is as close to a Rose lambic as we can get.

As someone who loves beets, this is in my wheelhouse. Earthy nose, beets throughout and even on the dry finish.

Plenty of citrus on the nose and drinks about how I’d expect it. Orange does linger around a bit too. Seems like this has some modern inspiration but also heard that this is inspired by a beer from here 70 yrs ago w fruit that refermented and popped corks

Still remains one of my fav Cantillon beers. Great to be back after a long absence.

Wanted to try this after 10 years and couldn’t hold out more than 5. Me thinks it would absolutely be stellar after 10, 15, prob 20 too. No patience.

This is close to perfect right now. So distinctively Lambic with restrained tartness and perfect amount of peach. Can’t improve on this vintage.

Damn this is better than ‘19 IMO. Softer tartness and noticeable rhubarb as it opens up and warms a touch. Great year for Nath. Congrats on your wedding today DJ M.

The cork was a hot mess; broke horizontally and vertically. Still a classic lambic. Great now and def great later.
