Lambic aged with some type of blueberries named haskap (in Dutch)... blood-red on the eye, hence its name.. catchy acidity and dryness..pinch of nectar sweetness this is what I like to have when in Brussels π

Heavily candy sugared lambic.. sweetness outbeats the sourness. The location is an absolute must visit if in Brussels though, one of Brussels oldest still operating cafes. π the portion of cheese for its price is exceptional (positive) π

Grand Cru Bruocsella Lambic Bio (2021) Wolfstark
Three years old lambic from the cask.. absolutely an intriguing one.. seems like less acidic and more Oakey as the one I had before (younger one). Musty, tart, complex, some acidity and lots of oakwood playing here π

The amount of apricots being used here is insane and this reflects the superior apricot flavour, deep apricots sweetness with 18 to 20 months aged lambic for the tart, acidic, woody and earthy experience.. poor me I have to stay at Brussels now and thenπ

Soft and smooth hop flavours going around here. No sharp edges, nothing exceptional but pleasant and good happiness/hoppiness π I love the midweek moments when bars are calm.. to enjoy the beers easy going with some music on the background π

I can't help it one day after a beer festival I end up for work in Brussels again. First time took a step to drive through typical Brussels area St. Giles ending up at the original Moeder Lambik π₯° love it here, same for the rose acidic beer π

Absolutely great! No complexity but a steady lasting level of superb sourness and rhubarb. π

Oh yes! Dangerous one. Drinks like a drinkable ipa whilst being 10Β° big ass hoppiness, hint of tropical flavours, hops, bitterness vs sweetness and grapefruit. Well done π

Having a Mikkelier bar at the airport is all I could wish for. Let the others do the shopping whilst I have some quality time over here. Indeed this is a quality beer. Barrel aged Black 'bastard' the bourbon barrel is present with chocolate and vanillaπ

Goodmorning Kopenhagen π whilst the ladies are starting with gin-tonic I'll go for a Danish craft pilsener. Good one honestly, clean crisp and crushable but above all an hoppy aftermath π
