Oude Geuze Boon à l'Ancienne - VAT 31 Mono Blend H
Thanks Steffen H. 4 years since the bottling date. Starts to get a nice complex touch. Sour, woody, acidic, wild, funky. Excellent 👌. I still have a bottle and will open it in 2040.

Beautiful fruited sour, not a Berliner Weiße. I like that this one still tastes like beer. The malt is still well noticeable. Excellent fruited profile

The only ever alcohol free beer that I really enjoyed until now . Absolutely delicious. Sour, grapes, sweet, malty. Could drink this all summer as a German Schorle Ersatz

Grand Cru Bruocsella Lambic Bio (2010) H
The nice thing about cantillon. They are fantastic. The hard thing with cantillon.... Is to let them age because they are fantastic. Thanks Bartlebier

Dry, crisp, clean, crushable, herbal, grassy and bitter. Well brewed. Could be even more bitter for my personal taste.

Great little American IPA. Light bodied, clean, smooth drinker. Hoppy, citrus, and well bitter. No DDH or TDH here. Just a smooth AIPA

One of my favourite cantillons. Love the lemony side of this Geuze.

Not your typical Vienna lager. Hops are overpowering and not enough biscuits in the malt. Too much cocoa powder as well. Still a very enjoyable beer

Weird Weather Non-Alcoholic Hazy IPA H
Good NA NEIPA. Still has this typical NA isotonic taste, but it is well masked by some hoppy fruitiness. Would definitely drink this one again

Modern BW. Without Brett. Should be called a fruit sour. Very fruity, very refreshing. Lacto, sour, tart, raspberry bomb. Easy

Almost 3 years in my cellar, it's time to crack this beauty open. Strong, complex, yet accessible. Dark malts, prunes, oak, Bourbon, vanilla, leather, raisins. Rich & strong body.

Kriek 100% Lambic Bio (2020) H
Cantillon rules. Sour, tart, cherries, funky, wild, acidic. And the typical Cantillon taste.

Now this a really good scotch ale. Not Oversweet, lots of malt depth. Scent of caramel and raisins. Taste wise we have rich malts bringing caramel, leather, peat, earth and wort ( in a good way ) It's in a little sweet with a dry, warming finish.

Drinking Faro brings back the memories of my younger years in Brussels. My mum used to drink a faro when she went out. And I used to nip from her glass liking the sweet and sour comination. So i drink this more out of nostalgia, not because I love it.

Coffee porter it is. And a damn strong one, love it. Strong roasy, little cocoa, espresso, malty & earthy. Roasty & steadily bitter finish. Rich & strong pitchblack body. A beer to sip and enjoy. Massively underrated, probably too bitter for most peeps

Blindtasted I think i would've guessed it to be a Perry. Fruity scent. Tastewise it's a bit of haystack, wood, fruity, pears, dry & bitter finish. Light body over a medium carbo. Excellent steady foam. A rather straightforward, unsophisticated wild ale
over 3 years ago
Funky, wild and fruity scent. Tastewise its a superfruity lambic. Mainly raspberries, some blueberrires. Sour, tart, funky. Very good

A devil's beer in a devil's glass 😈. Scent of dark malts and Belgian yeast. Tastewise it's the same accompanied with some caramel, a herbal touch, some far fetched licorice. Herbal and slightly bitter finish. Body is dry and very carbonated. Foam is 👌

Curmudgeon’s Better Half (2018) H
Aromas of molasses and malts. Generous head. Tastewise we've got some some malts, maple syrup, molasses, wood, a decent amount of sweetness. Slightly boozy & very smooth and mellow mouthfeel over long lasting aftertaste. Body is warming & strong

Decent non alcoholic where the typical non alcoholic taste is present but not disturbing. Apart from that it's hoppy and bitter. Enjoyable

Oude Geuze Boon à L'Ancienne - Vat 86 Mono Blend H
Mono blend gueuze. Very pronounced taste of oak. Apart from that your typical beautiful Belgian gueuze. Wild, funky, yeasty, barnyard, wood, oak, complex yet refined, sour. Top brew from Boon. Love the soft carbonisation aswell.

One of my favourite gueuze. This one is still from 2020. I prefer it 1 to 2 years older. Already very complex, but not as complex as an older one. Barnyard, hay, sour, wild, yeasty, dry, tart, complex,..... almost perfection
