Vinsanto 2020 Palmieri

Deserves a 4.4. Better than b2 when fresh, still not better than B1.

50 Degrees N - 4 Degrees E (2020) (Cognac) Palmieri

Here it is again, the classic 50n in cognac. Another pretty good batch I must say, citrusy and full of cognac notes, barrel, dry, great one.

Oude Geuze Boon à l'Ancienne - VAT 92 Mono Blend Palmieri

Another good one, just a little more messy than the other had with some kinda sweet part, though another great brew.

Oude Geuze Boon à l'Ancienne - VAT 91 Mono Blend Palmieri

Maybe it aged greatly, but don't understand all the hate. This is a pretty good geuze, wild enough and woody, just a bit on a leash and lacking a bit of complexity after a few sips, but absolutely well done. 4.15.

Lambic D'Aunis 2020 Palmieri

One of my latest bear's house crappy growlers. This time worked just a bit better, carbonation is good enough and it has lost just a bit, I think the beer itself is too young, with some green flavors and something not so good. A shame since I love aunis

Menu Pineau Palmieri

Forgot about this check. 2020 again, again from the crappy growler, second one had, it's already losing something...more a 4, but I'll confirm previous vote.

Fou' Foune (2020) Palmieri

Even in the crappy growler, this one is really good. Maybe lacks a bit in complexity, but nothing is wrong and fruitiness is just explosive. Pretty good vintage. 4.4.

Menu Pinea (2020) Palmieri

I'd suggest to not buy loon growlers from Bear's house site. You know the beer is still pretty good cause it's a good one, but carbonation is going down, and they come in crappy plastic bottles. Still got one to drink, hoping it won't "die" too soon.

Lizard of Koz Palmieri

2015 or 2016, not sure about it. Not as bad as many say. Of course too sourish in the beginning, with strong fruitiness and a little fake vanilla as a contrast. Everything balances after a few sips, with chocolate and licorice. Just a bit weak but good.

Oude Geuze Boon à l'Ancienne - VAT 79 Mono Blend Palmieri

Finally starting to drink again those Boon VAT blends, and this one is still fantastic. Elegant, funky, bit of oxidation like iron perfectly added to the sip, with nice minerality, tears, grapefruit. Just a small "hole" in the middle, but remains a good 1

Vigneronne (2014) Palmieri

Older than you'd expect, maybe you'll have to drink it asap but it's just a really extreme but interesting druiven. Grapes and tears all covered in citrus, oranges, some cardboard. 4.35. Thanks Daniele!!

Kriek 100% Lambic Bio (2016) Palmieri

Usual awful cork, time dried the beer in an unusual way, giving it a perfect morello cherries flavor. Nice one, although had better vintages. Lacks in complexity.

Grand Cru Bruocsella Lambic Bio (2003) Palmieri

Between 4.25 and 4.5. Really good one, though a bit too much corky. And that's maybe the first good old cork from Cantillon ever had 😅

Raspberry Quadrupel Barrel Aged Bourbon Palmieri

Not a bad beer, old but stood the test of time, the problem is too many things in just one bottle. Quad base is good, raspberries are very well present but too tart and sweetness of bourbon breaks in not well intertwined with the rest. Too much!

Spontancranberry Palmieri

2014? Maybe the worst Spontan had till now. Starts off pretty fruity and decent, but grows on extremely tart notes and too much wood. Not perfect of course.
