Absolutely incredible beer. Bottled Oct 2014. Notes say you should drink within 10 years. Nine years on I reckon this could easily go on for another 5 or more years.

Geen druif meer te vinden, maar er bleef een mooie oude gueuze over! Sparkling en fris, redelijk hoog in de zuren.

Wicked good bottle. Might be the best nose on a Vig I’ve had. Lactic acidity is pretty high

LC; thanks, AAA - been a while since I had Vig; this was excellent: obviously vinous, deep oak notes, but balanced acid profile, dusty basement funk, still bright. Carb was definitely low, but layered complexity here & softened oak tannins worked.

Couldn't believe this was 8 yrs old. Tons of fresh white grape still. Not very acidic and some funk on finish. Delicious

Low carb, white wine vinous acidity and sweetness, slight funk on the back end dry finish. Great beer that’s held up well over 8 years. Thanks Jeff J.

Paired with our first course of ricotta & fig. Delicious!

Drinking amazingly right now. Funk and fruit are at just the right balance for each other. Not my favorite fruit Cantillon uses otherwise this would rate higher
