Really fresh, with some spice. An amazing herbal alcoholic beverage. Zesty too.

HORAL's Oude Geuze Mega Blend (2017)
Not very good. Musty nose promises a fun sip but the actual taste is way too much lemons and the sourness renders this unpleasant.

A bit young but already quite tasty. Looking forward to revisit.

Eh... Sweet fruit (not sure which one) on the nose. Whatever taste, doesn't back up the fruit nor does it really give any algae or salty notes. Need to retry in a bottle. Don't trust the keg.

Less intense on the grape profile than previous batches, but still got that JVR touch. Thanks for the bottle, Jonathan M.

Near perfect. These JVR grape blends always slap! Thanks for the bottle Jonathan M.

Oude Geuze Boon Black Label (2015)
Mega explosion upon opening! đź’Ą Very dry, woody but super fresh as well. Holding up well & mustiness is showing.

Young but already great. Usual Cantillon zest, must & spice. Super drinkable.

HORAL's Oude Geuze Mega Blend (2019)
Cork almost took my eye out. Got that dry Boon & Lindemans funk!

Showing some age, but carbonation was nice, typical Cantillon mustiness & zest was also there, just had a tad too much oxidation towards the end. Thanks Joel M. for sharing!

Young but shows great potential already. Nicely roasty & deep in floral/herbal flavors.

Nose is camembert cheese, but then when you swirl it adds a sweet wine element. Citrus up front on taste & not very acidic on the way down. Metallic aftertaste unfortunately. Pretty decent carbonation for such an oldie; poured with an inch of head.

Very mild. Not a lot of lambic character left other than some oak. Very pleasant on the grape character but in a subtle way.

Tons of fresh raspberries on nose & taste. Some lambic aspects coming through. Decent tartness but not overwhelming. Good head retention too. Cork was completely soaked but didn't seem to have affected the beer. Also, strong pop upon opening.

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2019)
Pleasant maple nose and taste with the creamy bourbon barrel to back it up. Not too sweet. Nice to have in the small bottle format.

Nose is excellent. Very fresh, real apricot. But the taste is a bit one note by the fact that the intense sourness kills any significant flavors.

Typical Cantillon brewhouse nose with freshness. Soft carbonation, very mild sourness & bitterness. Round & creamy body.

Great refreshing grape characters. Tannins, acidity & fruit. Less dry than St. Lam but almost in the same vein.

Served way too cold. But once it warmed up some of the traditional barnyard, fruity flavors came through. Lost some carbonation by then too though.

Mild oxidation, took a moment to open up & bring out some freshness & complexity.
