Oof. Having it proper now. Floral as hell nose. Hints of alcohol is not lost .resinous, piney and pineapple tarts. Lots of phenolics, almost banana like. Extremely smooth too.

Could not have said it better than Sascha W. But would like to add, barrel presence is huge on the nose. Malty, classic huge wee heavy like nose with subtle hops. Taste follows. More syruppy. Boozy. Smooth sipper

What a pleasure to have this gem of a beer again. Why can’t they make this shit anymore. Fucking brilliant whiskey barrel. Vanilla subdued but still shows it’s presence. Incredibly adult and smooth.

Lovely sweet berries, balanced tartness and has that inkling of bitteesweet berry pith with some grassy taste . Dry dry finish

Guess there wasn’t any point holding onto this any longer. Maple was already muted a year ago. Thankfully didn’t get any worse. Tasty bourbon, licorice. Some dark fruits. Subtle maple sweetness. Reallly tasty sipper still. Smooth chocolates

A classic. Will always always appreciate this style of an imperial IPA.. sweet syrupy grapefruit. Bitter resinous piney finish.
