Super oxidized and mostly barrel. Bitterness is more in line with old school imperial stouts. Much appreciated in the age of pastry stouts.

WOW! Str8 booze on the nose. Boozy brown sugar candy on the tongue. Then toasty coffee/ chocolate. Warms all the way down. Can’t believe only $1/bottle at Olivers!👍

Licorice and woody anise. Winey thick molasses. Not sweet and vegetal. Earthy. Not boozy for 15% but it translates more to the winey port like essence.

Big, but worth it. Raisin, date, fig, plum, leather. Need a big choco chunk cookie with this.

Very nice, cognac forward, good body & big booze. Honestly, 8 oz is actually a perfect format for a big beer like this, bravo!
