The raspberry lambic I didn’t know I was waiting for. Follows and supersedes the raspberry MCI perfectly.

Un capolavoro intramontabile che non bevevo da tempo, ed è quasi commovente vederla alla spina. Lamponi al profumo e poi in bocca è diretta, fusione perfetta tra acidità, frutto e note funky, dal finale bello secco.

(2019) Home-made raspberry juice aroma with funky, tart, vinegar notes. The beer is sour with funky, raspberry and petroleum notes; no bitterness. The finish is similar, mellower, yet still sour and dry.

Brewed Feb 2023 to be enjoyed within a year - bringing very fresh raspberry notes from the nose. Satisfying, light lambic. Tart, minimal acidity, bright red fruit - mostly raspberry, soft finish. Could be considered a bit sweet, but undoubtedly terrific.

Fruity, tart, dry. Very sour! (Which we can handle.) The raspberry is very natural, we love that. Best of all: the huge dose of funk and fermentation. We had a bottle from 2019 which we let age for over 3 years.

Finally a Cantillon without the acrid dry aftertaste!

This one aged alongside the Kriek of yesterday, and I note a marked improvement on an already great beer! The nose is even more intense, and an earthy note has become prominent. The funk had increased too. Still not as much as gueuze though.

Amazing. It lives to its fame. Very well balanced between the sweet and tart. Smooth and full of red fruits. Just what what you would expect from a quality Lambic…

Didn’t expect to find this at a brewery passing through Indiana.
