The grandaddy of them all. One of the few beers in my list to get 5 stars. 2018 vintage, peachy fruitiness underlying a funky, tart palate.

Opened to celebrate Toer de Geuze 2021... alone in my stuffy apartment. I really wanted to share this but the liquid isn’t getting younger. Bottled 2018. Theres a sweet floral smell that is really beautiful. Soft acidity, great fruit concentration.

Beautiful, delicate aroma of fresh, ripe apricots w/hints of parmesan & light lactic tart aromas. Gentle lactic tart flavor followed quickly by fresh apricot skin & flesh. Apricot notes become more evident in mid-palate. Light lactic finish. BEAUTIFUL! 🥰

Uttery complex and utterly delicious! This one has been aged for quite a while which makes the beer- and wine character blend in more than become distinguished from each other.

Ticking off a big white whale from the list. Everything that you imagine it will be. Sharp clean nose. Has funk with fruit that comes through. Delicious acidity and as it warms up, more of the apricot comes out. Hard to find fault with this Belgian dream.

A white whale for the books—Pequod not necessary. Golden body, fragrances of fresh apricot and some barnyard funkiness. Balanced well by the semi-sharp tartness of lemon. Thanks Nick B. for the share!

Zuur, fris, zacht en smaakvol. De perfecte lambic die alles heeft wat een lambic kan bieden en die de tong door dallen en bergen sleept van puur genot. De Fou’ Foune laat je geen moment met rust en gelijk heeft ‘ie. Een bier waar men U tegen zegt. Dank.

Очень стойкий запах персика, но вкуса персика неожиданно не почувствовал. Вкус кислый, горечи нет. Свежее, питкое.
