Bottled 11/10/2010, opened 4/3/2023. Still lots of carbonation. No signs of oxidation. Bright lemony funky lambic followed by dark, juicy cherry notes. Fruit is still really present and balances out the mineral funk of the lambic. Solid!

Strong lambic influence in this bottle. Tart 🍒 with little sweetness, dry, low barb

Jebus. The cherries have a cool new tartness compared to the 2020 which is a tiny bit sweeter.

Oxidation’s having fun with this guy. All the vintage Kriek notes are here and it pours beautifully. However, there’s a raisiny, sherry, port wine notes that differentiates it from its peers. JW Lees’esq influence, in the best possible way. Unique bottle!

2nd pour. Earthy musty funky very tart cherry skin pairs expertly with lambic acidity. Dry tart cherry delight with funked up yeast and bacteria dancing nicely together. Also picking up on a hint of cinnamon. Aged well.

Omg, the earthy musty funky cherry skin pairs expertly with some of the funked up charcuterie cheeses. Dry tart cherry delight with funked up yeast and bacteria dancing nicely together. Also picking up on a hint cinnamon. 4.85

On top of carrying a toddler up a mtn, my crazy friend Jeff also carried up this 10 yr old Lambic for us to enjoy at the top. Delicious tart cherry pastries, faint lemon, spicy oak tannins, mild funk, mild acetic. Beautiful. Mt. Ambler, Grande Cache, AB
