Bottle is exactly 5 years old today. 2/22/17 Big oak and citrus. Very smooth. No acidity. Just awesome. RIP Mark Lanegan

Hitting that sweet spot. Overt lemon I find in younger Cantillon Gueuze had faded, nice sweetness moving in. Medium funk level.

5 years old and beautiful as always. Much of the acidity has mellowed into funk. Lovely.

Some funk for being 5 years old. Laura and I got this beer on our honeymoon in Paris and now we get to celebrate it with Jack. The labels got some symbolism too, as he pee'd on me earlier...

3/29/17. Had this right after the ‘21 and it’s noticeably more complex and leathery. Some Brussels basement dust, wet oak, and citrus. Silky mouthfeel. 4.6

On retrouve une acidité très douce en attaque suivie par un côté fermier et une amertume âpre. C'est très porté sur la pomme, un peu comme un cidre.

Had a leaky cork, so wasn’t sure how it would be. Still had some carbonation. Was hoping for a little more funk since I’ve had it for five years..

LCI. Bière de Beerthday. Nez fermier. Belle longueur en bouche avec des notes boisées et de Bretts. C'est vraiment très bon, un classique des classiques.
