Final zwanze of the day. Weather is growing colder and the wind is whipping up. Somewhere a window is closing. Berries are amazing in this spin off of Lou Pepe. They had a 2010 of Pepe but that’s not for today.

Aroma of both blueberry and raspberry. Very impressive seeing how dominant raspberry tends to be. Vanilla in the background underlining the two berries. Tart, earthy, marzipan, astringent, funky, dry. So well balanced. I love you Cantillon

Far less autumnal/mulled wine than last week, more blueberry than vanilla.

Nez: vanille, myrtille; bouche: attaque vanille qui laisse ensuite apparaître le cote lambic et le fruit avec la blueberry. Le final est très fruite avec la framboise qui est dominante et la blueberry en aromatique + lambic acide en fond

LCI 📝 Growler, alot of raspberries, redberries, grapey, soda-ish carb, spirits like nose, smooth, good balance between fruit and lambic.
