Back in the days, this was my fav Cantillon. Now, this is still amazing. Unlike the last one I tried, here you can really find the viognier. It's not a Chateaux Grillet, but the wine's there. Terrific, tart-apricot-cereal funky combo.

[7/10/21] not much left of the grapes, barely some fruit effects near the end, and the vinous dryness in the aftertaste. Still, an amazing Lambic.

Lambiek met druiven, tja, wat wil je nog meer? Echt heel goed, en niet heel veel langer meer rijpen.

Pears, melon, honey. Subtle acid finish. It tastes great from an adult glass cup, not from a plastic potty for kids.

Mooi complex bier, zacht zurig. Druiven komen mooi naar voren.

Very good balance of lambic and grapes, with neither sticking out more than the other. Citrussy funk with slightly peppery finish. Felt similar to the 2023 I had recently. Would be interesting to try an older Vigneronne and see how they develop.
