Pressed some handpicked apples to make cider full way through for first time. Thought that seemed like an excuse to crack a Cantillon. First time I've had Iris, but got a 2018 bottle stashed away to see how it ages but this is amazing this fresh.

Lemon and fresh green hop with minimal maltyness. Tart, sour lemon and hay with an immediate hit if bitter green hop. Moves to brett, gooseberry and lavender to finish, really floral. Really nice to see cantillon testing what lambic is capable of

Bottle datum 2020, dan heeft ze al 2 jaar in het vat gezeten. eigen import uit hartje Antwerpen. Alleen voor echte liefhebbers.

Ahhh, this is quite possibly one of the best lambics I’ve had…a nice smoky and musky fruit married to a geuze…excellent! Probably my favorite Cantillon!

Œil : orangé, col fin. Nez : poussiéreux, brett, légère, citron. Bouche : puissance, poussiéreux, brett, citron, acidité très légère, superbe équilibre. Magnifique !

Never had anything like this before. Delicious apple, leather, floral aroma. Pretty sour with with strong bitterness. Oak, citrus.

The usual suspects 😍 Iris on tap had really aggressive acidity compared to the bottle.

L’hospitalité légendaire de Jean-Rene G. est connu de tous, mais cette fois il s’est dépassé! Encore un énorme merci Jean-Rene G. pour ce petit bijou de Cantillon. La bière? Splendide. Acidité modérée. Citronnée avec la présence de barrique bien balancée.

Mało kwaśny, dziki, kwiatowy. Niskie nasycenie. Pestkowy, cytrynowy, grzeczna stajnia. Skórzane, ściągające, trochę słodkie, agrestowe. Bardzo ułożone piwo.
