Confirm impression of a few months ago. Beautiful vinous flavor reminding southern Côtes du Rhône wines that add astringency to the wine that somehow balanced the tartness of lambic.

Outstanding profile. Extremely rich. Sulfitic, tannic, layered. Red wine/red grapes. A lil' acetone. Medium aggressiveness. Funky, moldy, musty. Leathery. Bretta. A brief sweetness. Low-medium bodied, silky, crispy/spritzy. Easy. Elegant. Rustic, robust.

Unbelievable how different this is to the 2018. Darker in colour but far less opaque. Bright and zesty with straight up jam on top of all the usual lambic-y stuff. A bit less depth overall. Warmed up a bit I think I might like this one a little more...

I can tell this has been aged in wine barrels, but it doesn’t ram it down your throat like other wine led beers. Dry, like a beer-light-red wine.

On passe de 100% merlot à une combinaison de merlot, grenache noir et syrah pour cette édition. Il faudrait déguster deux années côte à côte pour voir les nuances, mais c’est tout aussi plaisant!
