Nou beste mensen dit is biertje nummer 751! En aangezien we in Frankrijk zijn nemen we een Bière de Champagne! Aanstaande zaterdag gaan we nog een bezoek brengen aan Champagnestreek, maar dit biertje is toch wel bijzonder. Heel zuur en droog. Heel apart!

I've seen more Biere de champagnes than ever before on this trip. This one is much more alcoholic than the last few, but probably the best.

Intense sherry aroma, dry and tart with wooden barrel flavours as well as sherry, leather and the like. Interesting and delicious

Fascinating beer. It’s absolutely a wild ale on the nose, so much funk and yeast. Flavour-wise, it’s remarkably clean. There’s some fruity sweetness, wrapped up in a clean, Brut-y body. Truly interesting and shockingly well balanced.

Not had this in years, a real gamechanger for me, white wine citrusy IPA hybrid. I think it was the famous 23 Club in Liverpool that introduced me to this.

Wine and oakey on the nose, sour on the palate, with dry Sauvignon at the end.

Trés bonne bière bien acide tout en etant amère. Très bonne bière, mais trop alcooleuse à mon goût.

Very elegant brew. Estery notes in smell. Champagne, floral impression in smell. Very good!

Thick and sweet apple juice, vinegar, ripe nectarine. Strawberry. The taste is quite rich and smooth. Creamy with a sense of vanilla and tannin. Oaky tail recalling champagne.
