So much better with the added age. Not as edgy anymore. Smoother and less aggressive boozy. Phenomenal outing by Mikkeller. Thanks Jonathan W. for the can!

Personally, I would put 1 here, I was not able to drink/finish a full can of it. But the beer by itself is a representative of the BA style: rich nibs, a pinch of vanilla, and a strong rum; it is sooo thick and dark that you think about a dose of tar here

Smooth rum BA cocoa shake imperial stout, aged in ex-American whisky barrels where first a stout was filled in, then a rum and finally this awesome stuff. Delicious flavours of rum, vanilla, cocoa & subtle whisky. Reminds me of Mikkeller's other shakes!

I'm a huge fan of Phantom Spirits work and this collab with mikkeller is a bomb! Huge aroma of vanilla and rhum barrel. Oily and thick, super complex and amazing, chocolate, vanilla, barrel and rhum, warming and boozy, sweet and slightly roasty.

Third time drinking this beer. First time a year ago the whiskey barrel was all over the place leaving no room for any other flavours. This time the great cocoa base shines though while being supported by the whiskey in the back. Really nice development

Oh, so good! Notes of vanilla, instead of drowning the boozy bourbon flavour and slightly bitter cocoa. Boozy, but balanced and tasty.

Excellent BA stout! Chocolaty aroma with hints of rum and bourbon. Great creamy mouthfeel with a fresh vanilla spirit to it. Very pleasant! Cacao, coconut and rum give a tropical sense to it.

Stunning stuff. Every single ingredient and every production step - oat, vanilla, cocoa, a passage thru the barrels which contained both whiskey and rum - has a clear role in this complex yet delicious Imperial Stout.

Bitter powdery dark cocoa balanced out with a vanilla sweetness. Rich and thick with a silky mouthfeel. Plenty of spirit influence here with a boozy warming rum finish.

Just a glass of VVV (Vodka Veggie Vaga) and I totally forgot to take a picture of this pearl. I had just a sip and I totally regret non buyin one for muself. Damn it!

Loads of vanilla up front, followed by chocolate covered espresso beans with a little bit of booze on the finish. Pretty darn tasty!

Tønne og sjokolade. Fyldig stout i eliteklassen. Kanskje litt vel spritzy? Nja, det kan jeg ikke si noe om. Aner ikke hva det betyr.

This old beer from some old Mikkeller club box is actually a pretty pleasant surprise. Roasty and reasonably thick with overall good flavor pallette. Nice. 👍🏻
