If one beer could make love pastry stouts again this one would be a heft contester. Everything hits: toffee, chocolate and vanilla. Decadent yet very balanced. Hope to see Gamma taking this experience to the next level in future brews✌

Still enjoy the base better. Cinnamon is there while the promised vanilla and coconut are hard to find

If you like dark lagers then this is right up your ally. If not then just move along. Roasty, notes of dried figs while still maintaining a clean lager base

I only get malt and some roast. No coffee, chocolate or the Stauning rye whiskey barrel. Abv is well hidden

Gorm the Old - Rum Cask Edition Skaaning
I prefer the "normal" Gorm compared to rum Gorm. Somehow the solid roast, chocolate and vanilla is gone and replaced by a somewhat boozy rum barrel. Rum Gorm should go back to the roots.

Solid roast, dark chocolate and vanilla flavours. Could be more lasting but the flavours are there and compliment eachother very nicely

I think the style is spot on. I'm just not that big of a fan of bocks. The cherry is a bit farty 💨

Beer Geek Cocoa Shake BA Whisky Vanilla Rum Skaaning
Third time drinking this beer. First time a year ago the whiskey barrel was all over the place leaving no room for any other flavours. This time the great cocoa base shines though while being supported by the whiskey in the back. Really nice development
