I wanted to love this but just couldn't. Too much whisky and on the nose for me. I'm not doubting the quality of this beer but not for me.

Really great. Not rich like a sticky imp but layered with stout flavour including some Ash and astringency. A slow drinker but rewarding. Man, I can't believe I'm back in work tomorrow 😭

Had this on my fridge for about six years now. BBD of 2025. Aroma has a little funk due to green bottle. Choco nibs and burnt toast. Ketchup chips from high ABV. Beautiful length. Go BILLS!

LCI. One I’d stored for a few years, thought I’d see the new year in with it. Very disappointed, far too boozy and hadn’t aged well. A bad fortified wine.

Very sweet and alcoholic, high carbonation level. Sadly very bad batch. It's the from the Beer Mail Box. Best before 07/10/29. Maybe in 8 years it will get better. Actually I had to pur it out.

Leah could not finish this so I’m helping. My god this is strong! Deep deep molasses with some charred caramel and toffee. Not a beer for the faint of heart at 17%

Day 24: wow BOOZY! Syrupy and big and bold. I really want to like this beer but I’m just not feeling it today. So potent and thick. Hoppy. Sorry to say this is just too much beer for me and I’m typically all over the big beers.

Bottle probably 4 years old. This is mind blowing. Huge malt, vanilla sugar, coffee syrup. Nicely bitter, ropey molasses finish.

You know how some really strong beers don’t seem that strong when you drink them? This isn’t one of them. Booze smacks you in the face from the first sip. Nice vanilla and licorice, especially on the nose.

A sweet touch with a dark heavy roasted berry flavor and a caramel malty finish. Can’t taste the ABV that much.

Needs a lot more age on it. This is like drinking bourbon with 95% dark chocolate and burnt coffee.

Oooooooh buddy! 15.1% ABV. We may have opened this a little too soon? Smells boozy, vanilla, oak. Tastes of rich dark fruits, deeply evolves into coffee and bitter dark chocolate notes, heavily warms the back of the throat - lingers too! 😳 Sipping only!
