What an utter beast. The champagne yeast has imparted a really estery influence. Twin that with a hopped-up US barleywine, and we've basically got a smooth, sweet 15+% toffee apple. Given that, I wouldn't say the booze is OTT. Silly stuff; smashed now.

Un barley a 15 degres... derniere degust avec Thibaut M. . Cette fois seul. Bien sucrée mais ce n est pas derangeant. Bu lentement, consciensesement, amertume contre balancant, boisée du vieux tonneau, comme un porto. Top. ... ca eclate.

Sehr untypischer Barley Wine mit Noten von Honig und Weihnachtsgewürzen. Boozy aber auch gefährlich smooth.

Voor mij het beste Craf bier cafe van Aken! Goudkleurig en met kleine schuimkraag. Whisky geur en honing. Likeur achtig. Lange zoete nasmaak. Toppertje.

Hæftig sag. Tydeligt alkoburn. Dejlig maltsødme, der ikke kammer over, men er ret tæt på. Fornuftig balance, perfekt karbonering. Lang behagelig eftersmag.

Dangerously drinkable. Would've said 10% but it's over 15. Very sweet but in a lovely way, aided by that delectable champagne yeast.

One of the few barley wines I actually enjoyed. Lots of thickness and caramel sweetness. Really enjoyable when drinking slowly. Even though it was around 16% the taste wasn’t as boozy as expected.

Boozy que le tbnk. Américain? Na. Anglais? Na. Levure de champagne, ça a une allure de barleywine belge. C'est bien, mais ce n'est pas un barleywne américain. Poire surette, brandy, poivre et Chili je dirais. C'est weiiird. J'adore le branding et le foil

naprawdę, wino jęczmienne pełną gębą. jak kupowałem to coś marudziłem że nie z beczki, ale i tak niczego tu nie brakuje. Dostajemy wybitne złożone, karmelowe wino.

16.5% ABV. Creo que del 2013. Este es su momento! Solamente 9 años para que estuviera a la altura :) Sigue siendo una bomba atómica, pero ya más integrada, no quema, capas de sabor. La era dorada de Mikkeller. Punto.
