A very nice spin off from backwoods bastard it’s sweet but has a nice complexity of flavors…rich and delicious!

Sweet Jesus, I love this beer. My mom's French Toast with a kicker.

Alt for langt mellom slike Øllerter.

This might be the most aptly-named beer - french toast and scotch ale flavors blended beautifully.

Impressively good. Maple up front, vanilla in the middle, cinnamon finish! Thin bodied, but a great flavor!

Mmm, den er god. Vanilje, kanel og tyk sødme. Holdt i skak af en fin humlebitterhed.

Thinned out a bit since the last time I had it, but flavors are still great

Just made it back home, one night after the tornado/straight-line winds hit the immediate area. So fortunate no damage to the house. Having this by lantern in the basement after raiding the stash. Love the '76 WDW license plate! Oh, beer is very good too

I’ll give any maple beer a 4+ anyday

Wow. caramel, toffee, butterscotch, brown sugar, coconut, nuts, bourbon, toasted oak. Brown bread, raisin, fig, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast earthiness. Lt bitter spicy oak. Insanely smooth. Top tier style. Big barrel presence. Pure maple nose.

Ugly game but winning I guess. Pretty legit name for this!

As good as I remember. I'm not a big scotch fan per se, so I look for Scotch Ales that have something extra. This one has vanilla, cinnamon, maple, all kinds of nice tastes that go well together.

Bourbon barrel, maple, what's not to love? Sweet and sophisticated, but still an obvious ale.

Great dessert beer. Tastes like French toast. Just under being overly sweet

Vanilla nose up front. Smells sweeter than it tastes. Cinnamon and maple syrup flavors prominent but not too much. Very little alcohol warmth. Solid scotch ale!! Love a wee heavy for desert!
