Aged 3.5 years. AROMA: roasty, chocolate, bourbon. TASTE: maple, chocolate, coffee, bourbon, roasty. This is incredible; thick & creamy but incredibly smooth. The bourbon is mild, the maple sweetness balances well with the roasty/coffee flavor.

Apparently, I still have one of these.

A high ABV selection from the cellar this week. This glass and this bottle would be a whole lot cooler with a mountie. Still a sexy beer. And so much nostalgia.

Had a bottle of 18 & 19 around the house, figured it's time to enjoy them.

NLIP. The amount of coffee, wood, bourbon and maple syrup they packed into the aroma of this is unbelievable.

Are you kidding me?! Everything has pulled together into one cohesive flavor and mouth feel. Sticky lips and sticky fingers. The only surprise is how the aroma is dominated by espresso, given that coffee (at least in flavor) usually fades fast.

Late night brew as I finish off my last few bottles of CBS. This has held up well for the age, I wonder about my last 2017 bottle will be?

Wow, what a rich and wonderful beer. Thick chocolate and coffee dominate.

Ook 4 jaar later nog steeds super. Qua intensiteit wat afgenomen maar de smaken zijn nog steeds heel sterk aanwezig. Mooi doorontwikkeld en stroperig

Hoping the Canadian vibes may cool things off here. Held up well, but if I have any more they better get drank.

Not at the top of it’s game but it’s still really tasty at this point. Hope they’ll bring it back someday
