Sweet indeed! Maple syrup flavor with rum and coconut ice cream notes.

From last night. The warmer it got, the better it got. Definitely not a cold drinker.

Stronger BBA aroma than most of this year’s releases. Hints of Maple coming through even though it’s still cold. Turns to brown sugar as it warms. Definitely a sipper. Initially a strong taste of sweetness and alcohol in the finish. Not much else yet.

Sweet but not overly so. Barrel gives a nice booziness to make this a nice sipper.

Maple and oak on the nose, sweet maple and syrupy wheat malt, boozy, pretty bitter on the back end, dry finish

#38. Impressive. The hops do add a nice floral note, but I feel like it does take away from the traditional caramel and butterscotch flavors that are usually at the forefront of a wheatwine. I do get maple, oak tannins and hint of bourbon as it warms.

2 B.A. wheat wines in a row ! Nice vanilla notes from the barrel. Very solid.

P: Thins quickly to a sm head. S: Sweet aroma w/subtle burnt oak/maple notes. T:Bourbon bbl taste, and fleeting hints of maple, plants this drink on my “keep-in-stock” list. Can be used to transition hearty souls from weak “beers,” to manly stouts.

Another day, another BA founders offering that tastes downright medicinal… glad I’m sticking to the single bottles here. These adjuncts are tier 3 for sure…
