Not bad … good weather here for sitting outside, enjoying a beer. “Sweet Repute” wheat wine-style ale with maple syrup, aged in bourbon barrels … another strong, flavorful, really good sip from Founders Brewing, Grand Rapids, Michigan. Salud! 🍺🍁

Nice boozy wheatwine. The maple is subtle which suits me well!

Sweet maple taste, with oakbarrel hints with a bitter finish 🍻👍

Even though I prefer a barrel aged stout, this BBA ale was really good! Not overly sweet at all, as I had originally feared.

Not generally a fan of the wheat wine style but this is pretty damn good. A little sweet at first but it balances out nicely after it warms up a bit. 🍻

Maple, fruity and whiskey on the nose. Malty, whiskey, maple, thick, sweet, fruity, hint of bitterness.

Really like this one. Will only get better with 6 months to a year (or two). Will try to find more.

Light amber, moderate lasting head. Sweet aroma. Maple flavor dominates. Smooth and dweet

Oh now this is an interesting one! It’s got a sweet caramel-maple syrup burn, right off the top. Sticky and boozy at 12.8%.

I'm very impressed. I never tried a wheat wine style ale. Tasty but not surprise bc Founders always make slamming beers. Keep up the great work.

Boozy, sweet, and it almost finishes with a hint of butter? Even if it isn't supposed to have that, it has those notes combined with a similar mouthfeel.

I only drank half of the 12 oz. bottle the other night, so I'm finishing it and checking in the other half. I like it more tonight.

The maple, wheatwine, and bourbon barrel are all pretty sweet. However, it works really well. Better than I expected.

Great flavor profile. A little too sweet for me, but I can understand this being in a lot of folks' wheelhouse.

Sweet malty aroma of toffee, toasted coconut, caramel, maraschino Cherry, light candied pineapple. Creamy medium-high body. Very light bourbon & maple barrel. Sweet & boozy. Light resinous hop bite. Aroma is amazing, but palate is a slight letdown.

Sweet Repute’s intricate layers of wheat, barley and caramel malts and clean, fragrant hops elevate our take on a wheat-wine-style ale to the next, blissful level. Blended from beer housed in both classic and maple syrup bourbon barrels. Sweet and boozy.

Balanced notes of barley that traverses towards creamy coconut, marshmallow, and whipped cream accented by caramel syrups with praline crumbles on top, and a faint booziness from the barrel-aging shines through to conclude this alcoholic expedition.
