Later tapped: paljon makuja: tynnyriä, melasissia, vaahteraa ja mallasta mutta aivan liikaa makeutta.

One of the first barrel aged beers I’ve ever had and still one of top favorites…

lots of maple and bourbon, some oak, raisins, hint of booze, it's mellowed but I might age my last bottle for a couple more years

Very lively but bold flavors. This has been a favorite of mine for years.

Badically taps in the barley wine feel. Clearly founders quality.

Mooie Amber van kleur en een boozy geur, klein zoetje. De smaak is lekker krachtig en vol van smaak. 🥃🍻 Top ik hoop hier meer van te drinken.

Aged for four years. Still TONS of character. Let’s brew another batch @Founders.

Awesome! Thanks, Ryan B. Molasses & maple nose, warming, maple & bourbon notes, bottle foams over upon opening (drinking at room temperature), somewhat sweet, medium body, sticky on the lips.

Found this treasure buried in the back of the beer fridge. It’s had some time to mellow and mature, and my what a beer it has become. The nose is sweet caramel and maple. The taste is bready, malty, almost French toast. The bourbon is only warmth. Wow.

Still real sweet with sticky molasses; maple hanging by a thread. One of Founders better BA series brews

Не буду менять оценку, приятная бочка. Чуть резковат, но это не делает хуже.

I’ll be so sad when I drink my last one of these. Luckily Backwoods Bastard is almost as good and made year round.

Maple aroma. Deep copper pour. Loads of bourbon, vanilla, and molasses. The sweetness of the maple is more pronounced. Had this in 2018 and 2020. Different flavors and experience each time. One more left in the cellar!

Malty sweet maple syrup delight. Great stogie beer which is a Metropolitan, a Nat Sherman stick.

Old ales met bourbon is een top combi. Heel mooi gelukt.

Richness, fullness, delayed sweetness, rounded body and all the malt. Really. It’s ample malt. More malt than you really need but not as much malt as you really want.

Nice deep garage fridge find. Better than I remember but I can barely remember last week.

FLN. Saying goodbye to my wife's parents house, that they lived in for nearly 50 years. Lots of great memories #nextchapter🍻

I don’t even have to interview? Are they high? I think they’re high.

After 4 years still has slight ever effervescence, however body lacks. Flavor is still big molasses and barrel. Anv doesn’t seem to have changed. Still a great brew, but don’t recommend aging
