First trip to the cellar since ive been back. Forgot i even had this one. Maple and molasses aroma. Surprisingly little bourbon notes, but enough to let you know its there. Sweet and rich. Alcohol definitely mellowed over the year or two. Very good.

Tung och smakrik. Lönnsirapen och bourbon smaken tydligast. Men känner även en len och fin vaniljsmak. En fantastisk öl helt enkelt!

This aged well. Bourbon nose and flavor came through strong, accompanied by maple and caramel.

Shame I'm not sharing it with my friends. I'm watching the Petra concert video from the 80s, Captured in Time and Space and sipping this elixir. If a friend sees this post and comes to my house I'll share the bottle. Otherwise, all for me!

Been Sitting On This One For Over Two Years Now. Still Amazing. Sticky Caramelly Molasses & Sweet Syrupy Maple, Perfectly Blended With Bourbon.

Clouds in the sky, a chill in the air calls for something boozy. This fills the bill perfectly. Some age tamed the sweetness. A smooth sipper is what you are left with.

Soft notes of caramel, oak, subtle maple and bourbon. Aging has softened the sweetness and brought out more of the oak.

Our last bottle of this delicious old ale. Drinks like a barley wine, lots of toffee and sweetness from the molasses, not a strong maple flavor, I think it dropped out with aging. The bourbon barrel is really smooth and complementary.
