Did not hold up with age at all. Nose was like a Belgian dark — all plum and date and brown sugar. Not a ton of barrel character left. Zero coffee. Don’t let these sit for three years...

Top notch BA stout. Many flavours queue up. First coffee and vanilla, then raisins and chocolate, and finally a lingering after taste of liquorice. Not too sweet.

They had 2018 KBS on tap, three years after the last time I had it. Yep, still wonderful!

I can smell coffee (fuck you Rona haha!), I can taste coffee and chocolate (fuck you again Rona haha!!!), some barrel heat - decent brew that has lost thickness (sup ¡¡FOUNDERS?!?!)

Bottled 02/18 Not sure if it's the red onion lingering flavor from my burger or if it's oxidized, but this is off. Likely both. Past it's prime.

Another excellent beer from Founders. Smooth chocolate taste with a coffee finish. Bourbon also accompanies this beer.
