Coffee still there, much more mellow and less hot than fresh. Super easy drinking for a 12%+ BA stout

Another cellar beer, This 2018 KBS seems to have mellowed out and seems to be missing the chocolate flavors. Coffee is there a bit and the subtle bourbon.

Black with a thin chocolatey head. Spicy scents of fresh roasted coffee. Bitter sweet dark chocolate with boozy bourbon.

New vintage after Vinmonopolet probably bought, and ran out of, all of of the 2016 ones. Bitter coffee beans, soy sauce, heating alcohol, heavily charred barrels, tobacco, leather, ash and dark dark malts. CBS > BS > MKBS > KBS.

So.... my first BBA since Dec 2018 (2.5 years) and I like it, there’s Chocolate and coffee with Bourben to finish, they all compliment each other nicely, very nicely. I think I’m finally on the BBA 🚂 😍

Bottled on 3/18/2018. This is really smoothing out and improving with age. Creamy chocolate, bourbon still holding strong and the coffee notes are mellowing.

Massiv sjokolade og kaffe med fin ettersmak av bourbon, glatt og lettdrikkelig til å være en så kraftig stout. Rett og slett godt 🤪
