Not my favorite, nose had a weird jerky scent to it that I liked but was watery and bitter on the palette. Would have with a steak.

Bottled 3.12.18. I remember distinctly, this was the year that I was over KBS. Again, time has done no favors. Black coffee bitterness holding on. Zero chocolate, base seems even more watery. Little to no barrel heat. Another purge beer.

Lost some body, vanilla, roast, alcohol bitterness. Dk fruit, a bit hot, lacks sweetness of a big stout, even as ut warms.

Popping into a 2 year old brew. Weird metallic taste up front followed by lots of coffee (more like burnt espresso) sadly this isn’t doing it for me.

Additional coronavirus cellar turd bottle. I dinged this a good bit from my last additional turd bottle as it is just far below the 16 black note I just had. Thin body, bitter, and a metallic finish just isn’t a good combo.

Something must have gone wrong in aging, lost a lot of flavor (tho alcohol was also barely noticeable).

New vintage after Vinmonopolet probably bought, and ran out of, all of of the 2016 ones. Bitter coffee beans, soy sauce, heating alcohol, heavily charred barrels, tobacco, leather, ash and dark dark malts. CBS > BS > MKBS > KBS.

Gifted from a friend. Lighter than I remember and very light in carbonation. Dominated by the bourbon barrel. Thin and a little sweet.

Coffee with some roasty taste. Smooth and just a little bitter on back end. 4 yes ago this bad boy was made before Covid was even a thing. Kim said it smelled like a swimming pool (chlorine).

Interesting find on tap. Still has coffee flavor where I was expecting drop off. Nice little desert.

Way too much barrel and less flavor. The worst kind of stout, unfortunately. No chocolate and little coffee.

Chocolate but quiet volatile/ burbon taste! Still tasty but strong!
