Left this in the cellar a bit too long. Plenty of oak tannins and ripe dark fruit, but some of the life is gone from it. Some oxidation.

Medicinal and cardboardy. I was excited to find an old single but it’s definitely well past its prime.

Red, brown hazy beer with a thin head. Marzipan, hazelnut, vanilla, oak, leather, prune and chocolate. Light carbonation, smooth and bitter.

Probably on the wrong side of the cellar. Bottled 04/01/2014. Lots of sweet tea, faded molasses, oxidized malt and light cardboard esque notes. Barrel is gone, some molasses sweetness and simple syrup hanging on. Fun beer to cellar.

BB May 15.... Creamy vanilla oaky whisk(e)y, demerara, plum/raisin, caramel, very well balanced, superb.
