Maple. Fudge. Mackinac (Island). Founders. (Imperial) Stout. These are a few of my favorite things. I’ve had the draft version but first time bottled. This is one on my favorite beers on the planet. More drinkable for me than even CBS. What more to say???

Ok. The year+ that this has aged in my fridge has only helped. The fudge has really become the focus- not the maple, not the barrel aging. This is a phenomenal beer.

A superb coffee Stout that cuts the sweetness of the maple and chocolate and also reigns in the bitterness of the coffee. Oddly, there is almost no presence of barrel aging in this beer. An all-time great beer
