Second check in of this. Aged slightly over 1 year and this tasted like pure melted chocolate. Has to be one of the top barrel aged beers I’ve had

Paired with Wegmans Ultimate chocolate cake. It was pretty good but something a little less matchy, matchy might have been even better. Chocolate overload with a shot of bourbon.

Had this fresh out of the tap right at Founders and this ranks as the best beer over ever had. However, it is one and done because it's basically like eating a dessert.

After a lot of deliberation, I have to say this is my favorite Founders BBA Stout. Rich chocolate and coffee without being too thick and overly sweet.

Just a great variation. This us almost as good as Better Half. What ever happened to Curmudgeon? This KBS variation is the best.

Born on 08/09/2022. Dessert in a bottle. Chocolate comes through perfectly. A nice roasted coffee flavor on the back end with just a touch of maple syrup flavor. And just the right amount of a boozy burn. Founders nailed it.
