Would have thought this was a minty coconut-ish kind of beer not a molasses syrup beer. Odd taste. Not bad just not what the label says

We are not sure of the year. Nothing printed on the label. No retail tag. Nothing. It tastes old , but not oxidized. Bourbon and hints of mint. Not getting syrup or molasses. It's not bad. Drinkable.

Biiig! Massive molasses sweetness, backed up with a complex mashup of woody tannins, dark dried fruits and maple. A warm booziness creeps up at the back end to seal the deal. A sipper for sure, but very enjoyable if you take your time with it.

Aged over 4.5 years now, the flavors still hold up really well with some seemingly a bit more intense. Simply delicious.

Forgot how great this beer is. Bought this in Founders gift shop this past Saturday. It was bottled 13.08.2019...and has Spanish and English on bottle. Guessing this was bottled for Spain, and somehow I got it...Molasses. Malty. Boozy. Sweet. Bourbon
