Late checkin from Fri. Had this one in the beer frig for awhile now. Believe it has aged very well. Very smooth caramel flavor.

Let this sit for a couple years and it’s still nice. The bourbon comes through nicely. Still some bitterness from the red IPA.

Smokey, full, zacht en toch zoet. De IPA is overgegaan in een goede Barleywine.

I went to the cellar looked at this beer - to sweet, looking at that beer - not in the mood, and I came across this barrel aged red IPA. Light tan creamy head. Rusty red in color. Smooth barrel and little bit of oak, just enough hop. Very enjoyable.

White cherry marmalade, vanilla cookies, peppery alcohol, pungent oakey bitterness, silky mouthfeel. So old, still has some hops left.

#mondaybadboy. Phew, da knallt die Kellerpeitsche, sanft und knallhart zugleich. Über die Zeit hat sich das kleine Scheißerchen zu einem ausgewachsenen Red Ale Barleywine'ish Eichenkaramellboogiewhoogie mit würziger Bourbonnote und Vanillehaube. Trocken.

En barrel aged imperial red indian pale ale, tak. Eller en dobbelt indianerbajer fra tønden, som man siger. Den er boozy, malty, karamely og ikke helt tossety…

That's one murky ass beer, and still left a solid layer of stuff on the bottom. Still pretty darn good too.

I've heard you shouldn't cellar IPAs, but i wanted to try it anyway. Pretty good. The barrel comes through strong, still plenty of hop bitterness. Boozy. It feels like i accomplished something. Im not sure what, though.
