Breaking this out like last NYE. The barrel heat has mellowed a lot and you get more of the malt and chocolate because of it. The barrel is very prominent and delicious. Very thick and chewy. Happy to end this shitshow of a year with this.

A little boozy and bitter dark chocolate. Thanks Shawn C.

This is a boozy you-know-what, but damn if it isn't so delicious. 2020 release.

Kinda blah with a slightly think taste / does not meet the general overall rating of 4 to me

Thx ✨Jeff M. For sending this years ago haha! Just opened. Cold to warm, opening up. Charred barrel, roasted drying oak bitter essence. Transitions to a semi sweet dark cherry ashy profile with a touch of vanilla and coffee Body is medium and creamy.

Great chocolate body. Dark chocolate. A light bourbon sting. Will need more of this, and I request 4 packs.

Damn near perfect. Loads of chocolate, faded hops, coffee, and nice barrel. Even better than I’d hoped. Thanks John M.

Shared bomber with my brother 🙃. Was a birthday present.

Saved this for a special occasion. JJ McCarthy making his first start for Michigan football qualifies as such.

Still a great bottle. It was good even as it laid down for a few years

Relatively smooth! Well done B.A. stout, especially without any adjuncts! Really liking this one even though I'm getting my ass handed to me by my main squeeze at Phase 10!!!

Ok - if anyone has this in the cellar: beware - huge ass gusher. Lost 1/3 of the bottle. Thankfully a 750 so hope is not lost. Part of the haul from Mike L. I never knew Founders made this. Decent barrel, ashy charred medium body. Nice non-adjunct brew
