Bottled 10.27.20 , definitely has aged well. Coffee is still prominent and hasn’t turned. Slight warming of the chest, subtle oak dryness. Huge chocolate. Still a little thin but not so much in comparison to more recent releases. Clearing out the cellar..

Oh boy. A couple years mellowed this beautifully. Definitely my favorite of the KBS spin offs, and (at the risk of heresy) possibly even better than the original. Leans a bit toward desert beer, but I really dig it.

Trying to pull some old ones out. This one bottled in October 2020 and has held up great. Creamy fudge flavor with some maple sweetness on the back end. Not much barrel flavor but that is typical of KBS beers for me.

Fort sur le chocolat, le café et le sirop d’érable sont très discrets, tout comme le bourbon. Au moins ça reste équilibré, l’alcool ne domine pas. Assez peu de corps, arrière goût de cacao Van Houten.

Absolutely ridiculous beer, been aging for a while and drank at room temp. Lots of layers, nothing overpowers and the sweetness is spot on.

Надо сразу сказать, что ни коричный, ни эспрессо версии мне не показались выдающимися. Эта не исключение. На нос хороший брауни и ликерные конфеты, немного кислит, сиропа почти нет, бочка едва ли, из базы любимый табак присутствует. Водянист и прост. Сух.
