I am pretty sure I have had this before and can't believe that it wasn't checked in... but it just proves that Firesign Theater was right: "Everything you know is wrong" aroma is somewhat offputting, but it could be because it was bottled on 06.05.18!

It’s not bad, but I don’t think I would drink it again. Tastes like a rum barrel aged pale ale. The taste is not particularly harmonic.

Very obvious that the beer is aged in rum barrels from the smell. I was a litlle worried that it would be too "rummy" but it had a great balance. A beer I am definately going to try again!

De rum is mooi aanwezig. Romige vanille met een scherp randje. Lange fijne nasmaak

Big time Rum Barrel booziness have had this 2018 version before. This one passed the date with a year now. Didn't do anything bad.. at all 😇

Caramel chocolate biscuit aroma. Murky brown amber colour good head and lacing. Malt caramel chocolate biscuit flavour. Smooth lingering palate.

Really well matured beer. Drank it with a friend while going for a walk on the graveyard. Slight tastes of raisins, figs and wonderful aftertaste of aroma hops that weren’t too dominant but carried the whole experience with notes of the wooden rum cask

Kraftfuld IPA med masser af fad noter i både smag og duft. En smule frugt og bitterhed.

Surprisingly fruity. Pineapple. Good bitter, not rough. Aged 3 yrs in my fridge. So good with Mays cigar.

A happy/sad moment. Happy because this beer has aged well and is as delicious as I remember. Sad because this bomber is my final bottle. I bought it at the brew pub when some bottles appeared long after the 4 packs were gone.

Founder's Brew, Barrel Runner. This was bottled in '18 so not sure it's in production. Mosaic Hops lean this ale toward the IPA side. Pretty heavy rum notes. I like it, very solid. 🍺🍺🍺🍺/5 ABV 11.1%

A bit of bitterness accentuated by some rum barrel aging. Pretty interesting beer that is surprisingly subtle considering the high abv. Beer gift from Warren L.

Det er ikke til at forstå at dette er en IPA. At den er lagret på romfade kan man godt smage, men den er utrolig rund og mild at drikke, taget i betragtning at den er på 11%. Fornemmer noter af lakrids, men ved ikke hvor de kommer fra.

Heavy fuel. Virkelig lækker øl, men meget voluminøs. Tydelig alkohol og bare god smag.Fadlagringen er meget tydelig
