I loved this back when it came out in 2010. Still pretty good.

Solid strong ale; not a barleywine, near as I can tell. Hoppy af

Overly hopped, not quite right for a barley wine. Good malt back but not enough. Still enjoying it but just want more cramelly maltiness.

Yep, same rival as last time. Still stereotypical barley wine aromas & flavors as the previous night. And, believe it or not it is still a great change up, yet a great reminder of the roots/ bare-bones of this style. Also, did it for the badge. 👍🤘

Complex... dark... roasted... a hint of booze as it warms... I need more barley wines

It’s fruity and sweet on the nose. The palate is sweet at first then more bitter on the finish. There’s more going on than I can identify. It’s a good beer to sip slowly and enjoy

Not sure that I agree on the style designation but what do I know. Still delicious as it warms up a bit.

Very smooth for an 11%. Love the malt notes on this one. Definitely enjoying after a long day.

It's good but didn't read close enough. I was expecting a Barleywine but this is a Barleywine-style ale.

Hops as soon as I opened it! Malty and not very sweet. Warms you from the inside out!

Taste more like a stout then a barleywine. Got some booziness on it. Thanks Troy, Go Bucks!

Nicely hopped for a barleywine style ale. Dark, roasted malt flavor.

Surprising find at the local market. Bottled four weeks ago! The roasted malt presents a bit of an identity crisis, but it's intriguingly tasty. The other three bottles are going to hide away for a bit as this should age really well.
