His Royal Hancurness hancurman
Deep amber, almost venturing into stout / Baltic porter territory. So resinous and tongue-coating hoppy too.

Ok this beer needed a little age on it. 6 months later I get it now. Roasty, sweet, smooth. Gonna buy a couple more bottles and save for a few years

Not a true Barley Wine (lacks complexity and too hoppy). But a very well made strong ale. 👍🍻🇬🇧

Weak on barleywine, super strong on hops... aptly named

Malty sweet and pleasantly bitter. A classic barley wine. Very nice slow sipper.

A tad strong for me but good pairs well with Irish vampires.

Not sure if time has helped, but this is much better than the last time I had this.

Solid as getting your dick caught in a swinging saloon door. Just awful garbage.

Hoppy Barleywine. Sneaky high ABV. Liked that it didn’t feel as thick (syrupy) like other Barleywines.

Not sure why do low rated? Live the malt, and the tobacco notes. Better as it breathed and warmed. I wish I had bought more than two

Malt with a little caramel and booze on the nose. Tastes the same, with a good mouthfeel and a little hop bitterness in the finish.

Solid barleywine. Founders is like one of my faves that's not local

Interested to see what a year or two of aging would do, but delicious none the less.

Superb heavy-duty big beerness here. Bitter hops and chewy burnt caramel malts. A superlative and on-mark barleywine. Couldn't be better in class.

Not bad, I see where they were going with this. Nice oak like taste, but boozy and a somewhat bitter bite.
