Un barley wine plutôt original avec évidemment la grosse base maltée et alcooleuse mais également un gros houblonnage et une finale bien sèche. Les saveurs se succèdent, se superposent, c'est parfois le bordel en bouche mais ça sort des sentiers battus.

Surprisingly bitter. I was expecting something sweeter. Not bad though, just not what I expected.

Bottled 3/9/21. Little spice little smoke on the backend. Sweet on the fore. 😙👌🏻

Smells hoppy and malty...good start. Looks like a Brown Ale. More roastyness than most B-wines. Complex with lotsa hops to cut the sweetness.

Thick creamy head, roasted malt aroma, barleywine taste with a hint of imperial stout, hoppy bitterness, and warming alcohol finish. Thanks Sam P.!

Sweet barley wine. I’d use this beer as a perfect example for the style, although it doesn’t add much to the formula

Brown pour, foamy tan head. Aroma of fruits, nut, a bit of chocolate roastiness. Huge flavor, lots of malty goodness, caramel, cream, cocoa, roasty chocolate, with pine, grapefruit. grass. Delicious.

I'd buy all of this candle-ized. Amazing, absolutely perfect nose; sweet, and forest-y. Early sips are complex. Sweet, molasses, and evergreen. An hour in and this is mellowing slightly and caramel and dark fruit notes are peeking in. Solid
